Thank you everyone, great ideas. I am a podcast fan too. Here are some of my favs for my 20 min. commute:

- GTD podcasts
- CBC Comedy Factory (love that Canadian humor!)
- iTunes celebrity playlist podcast (interesting favorites and insights from a wide variety of people)
- American Marketplace
- Fresh Air
- CBC Quirks and Quarks

I'm into music. 3 options depending on mood:

1. Listen to something new and exciting that you've hunted down and want to check out (keep a list)
2. Listen to an old favourite to get you going or calm you down
3. Listen to Beethoven "The Well-Tempered Clavier" for when really angry and/or stressed!

I listen to podcasts that I sync during breakfast: morning prayer, radio vatican podcast, and a weekly debate I like from a foreign radio I can't reach in the country I live in. Good in car or in tram (metro is loud :-)).
But the most important is to have options: sometimes I'm bored and available for content, sometimes I can only stand being present here and now.

A suggestion for your commute - podcasts. Store them on your iPod or iPhone, and play them through your car's stereo system.

I listen to the David Allen Company podcasts, as well as fun stuff like NPR's Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, and uplifting stuff like Sounds True's "Insights from the Edge", and Buddhist Geeks.
